Chapter 3

The rest of the day, Aidan spent talking to Trevor in their room. It was strange that Aidan who is normally in the pool during the afternoon hours had no intention or desire to go swimming.

As Aidan continued to talk with Trevor, he looked over his roommate quietly. Trevor had finally lain down on the bed, taking up an interesting pose.He was laying on his side with his head propped up on his arm. He actually looked quite cute and the intense look on his face made him look even better.

Blinking and shaking his head, Aidan shook such thoughts from his head. Trevor might be his roommate, but that didn't mean he should like him more than a friend right? Luckily for Aidan he was saved by the bell, or rather a loud knock on the door. Hopping off the bed, Aidan made his way to the door only to be practically attacked by one of his buddies who was pounding on the door a little too hard.

"Hey there buddy, you weren't at the pool! I got worried that your jock roommate tried to beat you up or something. " Duncan chuckled softly.

Aidan grinned. " Won't have that problem anymore.... Duncan , meet my new roommate Trevor. " Duncan blinked several times. "What happened to the jock? Did you beat him up instead?" Duncan laughed.

Aidan shook his head and laughed, "No, he moved out. Joined a frat I think. " Trevor sat up, swinging his legs over the side of the bed and hopped off. Trevor closed the short distance from the bed to the door, his eyes traveling slightly up and down as he walked over towards Duncan. Offering his hand, Trevor grinned, "Nice to meet you Duncan. "

Duncan glanced Trevor over as well, noting that he was cute at least. It is always such a waste when you have to share your room with someone that isn't, or at least that was Duncan 's opinion.

"Nice to meet you as well Trevor. " Duncan said, again looking over Aidan's new roommate. Shrugging, Duncan looked towards Aidan and gave him his usual grin and wink. "Well Wolf, I guess you forgot you promised to help me with that project today after practice."

Aidan chuckled softly and nodded. " Looks like I did. Sorry about that. It isn't every day you get a cool new roommate, especially one that isn't going to make fun of you because you're gay. "

Duncan blinked several times, looking at his friend oddly. Normally Aidan didn't go around telling everyone he was gay, especially with new roommates.

"Ummmm, Wolf.... something I don't know here?" Duncan looked confused, glancing back and forth between Aidan and Trevor.

Aidan grinned at his friend, knowing he was always on the look out for a new boyfriend. "Well.... I figured I would scare him off by telling him I was gay. Thought I might get a room to myself for a while. " He said.

Trevor grinned and spoke up. "Course it was about that time that I outed myself. I dropped some of my magazines and Aidan saw them. " Trevor chuckled softly. He pretty much figured that Duncan had to be cool or Aidan wouldn't have said that he was gay in front of him.

Duncan laughed with Trevor, knowing exactly how that felt. "Well, looks like we all have something in common. Though most don't really know that I am, unless they catch me coming out of a club or something. "

Trevor nodded and understood completely, trying to recall just how many people he had told and realized it hadn't been many. Looking over Duncan , Trevor felt a stirring inside that he hadn't felt in a long time. It wasn't often that Trevor felt an instant attraction to a man, but he was defiantly feeling it now.

Trevor cleared his throat and looked between the two friends. "So.... why haven't you two ever hooked up? If I am not being too nosey that is?"

Aidan, or Wolf as Duncan called him began to laugh and Duncan soon followed. "Well, we do hook up sometimes, but not often anymore. We are better friends than lovers, though that's not saying the sex isn't good." Aidan said letting out another laugh.

Duncan nodded, "Yeah, the sex is good, very good. However, we are friends and that's how it's always been." Duncan chuckled and winked at Aidan, who quickly nodded.

Aidan about that time looked over at Trevor who had a very confused look on his face and he laughed. "You see, we have been friends since we were little kids, we are more like brothers than anything. So we basically feel brotherly love and not real love. Besides, where would we be if we fell in love and broke up? We wouldn't be best friends anymore. "

Aidan and Duncan had seemed to make up their minds about this subject a long time ago and Trevor decided that he wouldn't argue. In fact, Trevor was quite glad there was nothing between them but friendship.
