Chapter 12

Last Time:

JC smiled, "Well, let's say we celebrate tonight, go out to dinner and have some quiet time to get to know each other."

Aidan nodded and smiled, "Sounds like a good plan. It's a date."

Balboa Menswear

Walking into the store, Nick, Brian, AJ, and Kevin looked at each other with puzzled glances.

"Does anyone know what's going on here?" Kevin asked.

Chris and Joey nodded smiling really wide, and Chris spoke, "Yeah, but we aren't allowed to tell."

Kevin frowned, "Not allowed to tell? Well, I guess they will tell us what is going on later. I just hope Howie is okay."

Kevin hmmed and looked over towards Justin, "Do you know what's going on, Justin?"

Justin shook his head and grumbled, stalking off further into the store.

The guys watched Justin leave, and started shrugging their shoulders. "He sure is moody lately..." mused Nick.

"Yeah, well you know Curly, he always gets grumpy this time of the month..." said Joey as he laughed, causing the others to join in, and break up the weird mood.

"Let's go find Lance and Howie. I think it's time to finish up shopping and leave." Kevin said.

Inside Justin's Mind - Balboa Menswear

Justin grumbled as he walked into the store, he didn't like what seemed to be going on here at all. Wasn't he supposed to get Aidan? He was the cutest guy in both the groups after all wasn't he? He just had to get Aidan away from Josh. It wouldn't be too hard he suspected. Sure Aidan hadn't really given him the time of day yet, but Justin had yet to turn on his charm. He decided that he would call Management tomorrow, and see if he could get Aidan a job on the tour so he would have plenty of time to seduce Aidan.

Balboa Menswear

Tyler had just finished telling a joke, and stood when he noticed a large group moving towards them. "Ok Stone... I'm done, go take them off and bring them back to me." said Tyler.

Stone laughed, "Good, you already stuck me with a pin... I swear... sometimes I think you stick me just to get a rise out of me."

Tyler grinned up at Stone, "Nahhh, it's not my fault you move when you laugh."

Stone chuckled and swatted at Tyler's butt. "Ok you, stop that and go say hi to everyone. I'll be right back."

The Group Reunited - Balboa Menswear

Aidan and JC stood and walked back inside Balboa Menswear, rejoining the group who were all chatting away, shaking hands and introducing themselves to Tyler.

Aidan looked around and spotted Stone walking to the back of the store, he must be heading into the fitting room he mused. Walking over to the group the pair stood on the outskirts of the conversation, quietly talking. As Stone rejoined the group he looked around, "I guess you guys are ready to go, huh?" Stone grinned.

The guys all nodded and several walked over to Tyler asking for his number including Howie, which made Aidan smile.

Stone walked over and shook Tyler's hand, and grinned at him. "Let me know when those are ready, you know my other sizes, I don't know why I even get measured every time."

Tyler laughed, moving backwards quickly. "Because you like hands running up and down your body?"

Stone laughed and grinned, "Well, that's true... but considering I am always working out I want to make sure my muscles haven't caused me to go up another size. It just wouldn't do for me to burst out of my clothes. " Stone winked.

Tyler shook his head, blushed, and grinned, "Shoo, go have fun with your friends. I'll see you soon."

Stone nodded, giving Tyler a kind of half hug and walked off towards the group.

The guys made their way back to the front of the Mall and the Manager came out of his office and let them out. "Thanks for shopping with us, please do come again."

The guys nodded and climbed into the van, though this time the seating arrangements were different. Aidan was sitting next to JC, Stone was again next to Lance, and Justin had some how weaseled his way to sitting on the other side of Aidan. The rest of the places just seemed to fill in where it was available, but several of the guys began wondering what was up with Justin.

Georgia Tech - Taking the guys home

The van wound its way through the city streets, and came to a stop in front of the dorms where the guys lived. The guys got out, and started to say their goodbyes, when JC walked a short distance away pulled out his phone to call Management. He let them know that he wanted to stay the night in Atlanta, and would be at the concert in plenty of time for sound check and practice. After a lot of arguing, they agreed since the band had just arrived at the Arena in Lexington, KY. Josh told them he needed a night to himself and was surprised that it took a lot of convincing, but they figured that it would be okay if he stayed behind as long as he was early tomorrow.

Josh smiled and walked over towards Aidan and grinned. "Ok, our plans are official. I was supposed to fly out tonight with the guys, but I talked Management into letting me stay the night, that way we won't have to rush our date."

Aidan smiled, "Good, rushed dates just aren't fun."

JC walked over to the rest of the group and grinned, "Guys, I'm staying in town tonight. You guys go on to the Hotel without me. I'll call and get a car for tonight."

Chris and Joey looked over at JC and winked; the rest just looked puzzled, except for Justin, who started fuming.

"How did JC always get the cute ones for himself?" Justin thought.

The guys nodded at JC. After they had said their goodbyes, JC, Aidan, Trevor and Duncan stood on the sidewalk as they drove off. Stone waved from the van, he had decided to go back to the hotel with the guys for a bit to see them off.

Duncan looked at Aidan and JC. "Ok, Wolf ... spill... what's going on? I am so confused. Are you two together?"

Aidan and JC laughed, "Yeah... you could say that." Aidan winked at Duncan. "You know that on-line friend I have been talking about for months? Well... meet CMajor."

Duncan laughed, "Your kidding, right? Your on-line pal was JC Chasez from Nsync? How do you get so lucky??"

Trevor made a noise, and poked Duncan in the arm, which made Duncan turn and poke him back. "Hey, I didn't say I wanted him, baby. You know that I love you right?"

Trevor nodded and grinned, "Yeah... I know. I love you too."

Aidan and JC looked at each other and suddenly a chorus of awwwww's came from both of them which caused them to laugh. "We're already thinking alike. Is this scary or what?" Aidan chuckled. Josh nodded and looked around. "Ummm guys, I think we are drawing a crowd. We might want to get inside before I get mobbed."

The guys all nodded and quickly hurried inside the dorm doors, and then Trevor and Duncan turned. "How about we leave you two guys alone? We will go over to my dorm for awhile." said Duncan.

Aidan smiled, "Thanks guys. See you two later."

Aidan's Dorm Room

Aidan and JC walked up to the dorm room and Aidan quickly pulled JC inside. "Man, that was close. Boy would I have some explaining to do later if they saw you. It's a good thing I won't be here much longer. "

JC laughed, "Good thing I always bring a hat along incase of things like this. Especially since your out. Our career is too new for me to get outed as a bisexual."

Aidan nodded, "Yeah... well by the time we leave here, most will be gone anyway. Place kinda clears out this time of day."

JC smiled, pulling Aidan closer. JC kissed Aidan then, and though he'd expected it, Josh still managed to surprise him. His lips were soft, but firm, wooing him, coaxing his own lips to part. Aidan wasn't prepared for the demanding heat of his tongue, or how he instinctively answered, his mouth widening hungrily as he deepened the kiss. Aidan's heart raced and his head felt as light as the moon floating in the night sky, and when he finally broke away, he was breathless and wanting more.

"Wow, that was so hot." JC whispered to Aidan, clutching him close as he leaned back against the door.

Aidan nodded, unable to speak for a moment longer, "Yeah, it was. If that is just a sample, then I can hardly wait for the real thing." Aidan grinned and leaned forward, nuzzling Josh's neck.

JC smiled, breathing in deep as he inhaled Aidan's musky scent. It was all man, and JC found it very arousing. "I can't tell you how long I have waited to do that. It was so worth the wait."

Aidan nodded and pulled on Josh's hand, and pulling him towards his bed and sat down. "Yeah, definitely. I think that is probably the hottest kiss I have ever had."

Josh smiled and nodded agreeing with Aidan, "Yeah, same here. "

Deciding to change the subject, Josh spoke again, "So, where would you like to go to dinner. Would probably need somewhere quiet with a back room for privacy?"

Aidan thought for a moment and hmmmed. "I know the perfect place. Do you like Italian?"

JC nodded, "Sure... what did you have in mind?"

"I have this place I go a lot. I'm friends with the owner, so I can get the private back room at any time as long as its not already booked. It's called Veni Vidi Vici, its not too far from here."

JC smiled, "Sounds like a nice place. Guess you should call for reservations."

Aidan nodded and smiled. Leaning over, he grabbed the phone off the hook and started dialing the number to the restaurant.

Veni Vidi Vici

Raimondo had just put down the phone when it rang. Not many people had his private number, so he quickly picked it up.

"Hello, Veni Vidi Vici. Raimondo speaking." he said.

Aidan laughed, "Since when do you answer the phone like that Raimondo?"

"Ahhhh, Aidan... hello I thought it was that time of the week for you to call. How many in your party tonight?"

"Just two of us, though we need the back room. Is it available?" Aidan asked.

Raimondo hmmed and checked his books. "Yes it is... must be important to want the back room. Is this a new boyfriend your trying to wine and dine my boy?"

"Well, actually he's a friend that needs privacy to go out. So I would appreciate it if you had Tino there to meet us so we can get into the back quickly."

Raimondo hmmed again, "All right, that can be arranged. What time will you be here, and why won't you tell me who he is?"

Aidan laughed, "Cause its a surprise? Trust me; I think you will like my new friend a lot."

Raimondo chuckled, "Really? Well, if he is a friend of yours, he is a friend of mine."

Aidan smiled, "Thanks Raimondo, just a sec and let me ask him something."

"All right, " said Raimondo.

Aidan put his hand over the mouth of the phone and smiled, "Did you want to go back to the hotel and freshen up first? Or did you want to go now?"

JC hmmmed, "Well, I am kinda getting hungry. If you want to bring some clothes with you, we can freshen up at the hotel later."

Aidan smiled, "Mmmmm babe, sounds fun... "

JC laughed, "Ooooh I like the way you think baby." Aidan laughed as well, leaning over to kiss him.

"Well, unless we want to ride on my cycle... you might want to call for a car."

JC nodded and took out his cell phone and began to make a call.

Aidan got back on the phone, "Well as soon as we get a car to bring us there, we will be there. Is that okay?"

"That's fine; I will keep the room open. See you when you get here," Raimondo replied.

"Thanks, I appreciate it. See you soon, bye." said Aidan as he moved to hang up the phone.

"There, all set. He's holding the room for us, so as long as we get there soon... we should be okay."

JC got off the phone and nodded, "The limo will be here in 20 minutes. It's nice to have connections sometimes."

Aidan nodded, "I know the feeling. Ok, what should I wear? You can borrow some of my clothes if you want?"

JC nodded, "Sure... you must have something I can wear, we seem to be about the same build."

Aidan and JC changed and Aidan packed a small bag with some clothes in it and grinned over at Josh. Josh looked very nice in a pair of Aidan's black slacks, a green silk shirt, and a baseball cap. "It's a good thing I always carry my comb, I will need it after wearing this cap."

Aidan nodded, and looked in the mirror. His blue silk shirt showed off his glowing tan, and fit just perfectly for his body. Aidan completed the look by pulling on a pair of black twill pants. Aidan had once been accused of having too much silk in his wardrobe. Aidan told them that one could never have too much silk. It always felt just right on the skin.

Aidan walked towards the door, and looked outside making sure the coast was clear. They hurried downstairs and luckily the limo was waiting for them. They hopped inside quickly, and were off to Veni Vidi Vici.

Outside Veni Vidi Vici

The limo pulled up outside of Veni Vidi Vinci, and Aidan grinned at Josh as they got out of the limo and walked inside. Aidan dined at the restaurant a lot, and was great friends with the owner. When Aidan came here, he was normally with Duncan and Trevor, and it sometimes made him wish that he had someone to bring with him instead of being the third wheel.

Aidan and JC were quickly ushered into the back room by a handsome young waiter, who Aidan knew was Raimondo's son. "Hello, Aidan. It is a pleasure to see you again."

Aidan smiled, "Nice to see you Tino, where is your Papa?"

Valentino chuckled, "In the back as usual, I will go get him in a minute, he won't believe who is here." Valentino turned and smiled at JC, "Hello JC, how nice of you to come to our restaurant. I hope you will find everything to your liking."

JC chuckled, he was used to being recognized by now. "Nice to meet you, Tino," JC said, taking his cue from what Aidan called him.

Valentino smiled, "My name is actually Valentino. Aidan here calls me Tino."

JC nodded, "Valentino, it's a good italian name." JC smiled up at the young man who started to back away.

"Let me go get Papa. He will want to meet you. He's a big fan, just like me."

JC smiled, "Always glad to meet fans."

Valentino smiled and hurried out the back room and made his way towards the kitchen closing the doors behind them, leaving them in privacy.

Kitchen - Veni Vidi Vici

Valentino hurried into the kitchen, yelling Raimondo's name. He found his father talking to one of the cooks and quickly pulled him away and into his office.

Raimondo stared at his son, "Valentino, what is the meaning of that. I was talking about dinner."

Valentino gasped to catch his breath, "Sorry Papa, but you will never guess who Aidan's special guest is... "

Raimondo looked puzzled at his son, "Who is it? Don't leave me in suspense boy!"

Valentino grinned at his father, "It's JC from Nsync, Papa."

Raimondo grinned, "Well, let me go greet our guest, did you leave them menus?"

Valentino looked down, "Sorry Papa, I was so excited when they came in I forgot. I didn't want him to get mobbed, Papa."

Raimondo nodded, "I shall take the menu's then. Get back to the door, and find a replacement for you for a bit."

Valentino nodded, "Yes, Papa."

Raimondo smiled as his son hurried off. He was a good boy, though a bit forgetful at times. He walked down to the cellar, and got a bottle of his best Ruffino Classico, walked towards the door of the kitchen, grabbed some menus from the counter and walked into the back room.

Back Room - Veni Vidi Vici

Aidan laughed after Valentino left, "He forgot to bring us some menus. Ahh, well... his Papa will bring them when he comes. He's a good kid, just barely 18. I've known him and his father for a very long time."

Josh nodded and smiled, "Seems like a very nice place, looks expensive too."

Aidan shook his head, "Yeah, it is a bit expensive, but the food is worth it. "

It was just at that moment that Raimondo opened the doors of the back room and walked into the room. He set down the wine and the menus and spoke. "Ahhhh, my dear friend Aidan... how good it is to see you again my boy."

Aidan stood up and hugged the man, who JC could only assume was Valentino's father. "It is good to see you again Raimondo, sir."

"Ahhh, Aidan introduce me to your friend, we do not wish to leave him out now do we." Raimondo grinned and winked at JC which caused him to blush slightly. Raimondo reached out his hand and grasped JC's. "Raimondo at your service. I am the proud owner of this establishment."

JC smiled and shook Raimondo's hand. "Pleased to meet you Sir. I am JC Chasez."

Raimondo grinned, "Oh, I know who are my boy. My son gave me one of your CDs for my birthday, it was good. I look forward to your next one."

JC grinned, "Well, our next one should be out in March of next year if everything goes well. We will be working on it again during our break from the tour."

Raimondo nodded, "Glad to hear it. Well, please forgive my change of the subject, but here... let me get your wine poured. I know what Aidan likes with his meal, so I grabbed a bottle of my fine Ruffino Classico for him. "

Raimondo uncorked the wine offering a glass to each, "Here are your drinks, and your menus. My son will be back shortly to take your orders, I must be getting back to the kitchens.

Aidan smiled, "Thanks Raimondo, was nice seeing you again."

JC nodded in agreement, "It was nice to meet you Raimondo. I will be sure to let you know the release date for the CD. Perhaps you would like to go to our February concert?"

Raimondo turned around and grinned, "I would like that very much, as well as my son. Get our details from him, and I will see you two later."

JC nodded and smiled, "All right, see you later."

Veni Vidi Vici

Aidan smiled again, Josh seemed to be very full of surprises. "That was very nice of you, Josh."

Josh shrugged, "It's no big deal really. We get free tickets for every concert for friends and family. I figure that if he likes our music, we must be doing something right. It means we are reaching adults too, which is a good thing."

Aidan smiled, "True, I am sure Tino will be thrilled with your offer, he couldn't go to the concert yesterday, they were sold out awhile back."

Josh nodded, "I like to help people, Tino and his father seem real nice. "

Aidan smiled, "He is, just like you are. "

Josh chuckled softly and blushed. "Yeah... "

Back Room - Veni Vidi Vici

Valentino opened the door quickly, and hurried inside. He had passed his father and he was told that JC had a surprise for him. Not having any idea what might happen, he was all smiles. Surprises were good things right? Maybe he would sing for him or something better.

Valentino stopped before the table, and turned towards JC and grinned. "My dad says you have a surprise for me?"

JC chuckled as he watched Valentino practically bouncing up and down from excitement, "Yes, I offered you both tickets to our next concert in February."

Valentino gasped, "Really? Oh wow! That's great... thank you so much!"

JC nodded, "Your welcome. Just give me your address and telephone number, and I will make sure you get them."

Valentino nodded and quickly began scribbling down the required information on the pad in his hand. When he was finished he handed it to JC who carefully stuck it in his wallet so he wouldn't lose it. Valentino grinned, "Now, what kind of salad can I get you gentlemen?"

Aidan hmmmed, " I will take the Grillied Portabello Mushroom and Arugula Salad, what do you want Josh?"

JC looked over the salad menu, "Just give me the Classic Caesar salad. "

Valentino nodded, "Great, I will be back shortly with your first course, " he said as he hurried off to the kitchen, leaving the two of them alone to talk.

Veni Vidi Vici

Josh smiled at Aidan from across the table, after the waiter left. Clearing his throat he asked, "So, tell me about your childhood? "

Aidan thought for a moment and spoke, "Well, not many really know my true background actually. In fact if they did know my background, they would wonder how I ended up in the computer classes at Georgia Tech, instead of finishing up classes at Julliard. "

Josh's looked at Aidan shocked, "Julliard? Really? You got into Julliard and your studying computers?"

Aidan nodded, "Growing up, each Saturday morning for 29 weeks, from September through May, I ended up taking part in classes from 8 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. In fact, I fit in pretty well since I had been writing songs and playing the guitar since I was around 8, piano from around 7. My parents had insisted as apart of my education that I learn an instrument, and they tell me I was quite talented. Each member of the family had to choose one at one time or another and I was to be no different."

Josh sat there stunned, "Wow, I don't think I have ever known anyone that went to Julliard. Tell me more about it? "

Aidan nodded, " I was lucky to have talent in more than one instrument, though playing the guitar was more of my passion than playing the piano, however I was given lessons in both. By the time I spent from ages 13 to 18 in classes, I had realized that I loved the guitar much more than the piano, but they told me that all the guitar classes for college were filled. I think they were trying to get me to continue taking piano. I however fooled them all by applying to Georgia Tech. They were pretty upset I think. " Aidan laughed softly.

Josh nodded, "Well, why don't you tell anyone? Wait... how did you get into Julliard, isn't it expensive?" Josh looked at Aidan confused.

Aidan chuckled softly, "Um, well... that's something I have been meaning to tell you. " Aidan cleared his throat and looked up into Josh's eyes. "I'm rich. Needless to say my father established a very sizable trust fund for me. That's not counting the money dad pays for me to go to school and everything else. "

Josh blinked, "Really? What does your family do?" Josh looked at Aidan, he was stunned. He was going to offer to get Aidan on the tour with a job, but if he were rich, would he really want to go?

Aidan nodded, "Yeah, I don't normally tell too many people. I would rather be liked for me, not because my parents have money. My dad owns several businesses, but the name of the company is Derikson Enterprises, Inc. Dad buys companies that have promise, gives them better management and re-sells them. The money though was family money, we've had it for a long time, seems every generation adds to it."

Josh blinked again, "Wow, but you don't seem... well... forgive me for saying so, but you don't seem spoiled. The few people I have met over the years with a lot of family money are quite spoiled, and think only of themselves."

Aidan laughed, "Nope, spent too much of my time growing up either working for my dad as a runner or practicing piano or guitar, who had time to be spoiled? Heck, Stone is rich too, his grandfather invented a bunch of stuff. I forget what it was now. Do you think he is spoiled?"

Josh laughed for the first time since the conversation had started, "No, though he sure does voice his opinions loudly. He seems like a generally nice guy though. I think Lance really likes him. " Josh thought for a moment before continuing, "You know, I've been wondering about Lance for awhile. I think he's gay and just hasn't told us yet. I don't know why he hasn't though, he has always been a little on the quiet side about things like that. "

Aidan nodded, "If anyone can get someone out of the closet it's Stone. Especially if he likes someone. Knowing him as well as I do, needless to say Stone likes Lance a lot."

Josh hmmmed, "You think so? Lance is kinda a very sensitive person. I do hope Stone won't hurt him."

Aidan smiled, "Nahh, I have never known Stone to really hurt anyone really. Stone has this way of letting people down without them feeling hurt. It's the most amazing thing I ever saw. It's great to watch sometimes."

Josh hmmed, "Sounds like someone we should all get to know. Too bad we have that court battle this coming month and we still have a album to put out before the tour. Maybe Stone can fly to Orlando and hang out with us, keep Lance company."

Aidan grinned, "I am sure that Stone has probably thought of that already. If he hasn't... we can always suggest it right?"

Josh grinned, "Right."

Just as they had finished their conversation, their salad course arrived which was perfect timing. They ate quietly, chatting once in awhile, enjoying each other's company. The second course was brought, which Aidan had ordered ahead of time. Salsiccia Peperonta, and some assorted Italian meats. JC mmmmed appreciatively as he picked up a sausage from the plate, and began eating.

"Mmmm, you sure know how to pick good food; I couldn't have done better myself. If the main course is as good as this I will definitely not want to eat for awhile." Josh laughed softly.

Aidan grinned, "It is. what would you like for the next course? The Fettuccini is really good, and so is the Tortelli. Of course all of it's good. but those are my favorite."

Josh hmmed, "Well I like both too, how about we get both and just share?"

Aidan grinned, "Sounds like a plan to me, I was just about to suggest it myself." Aidan winked at Josh. "Great minds and all that huh?"

Josh chuckled, "Yeah, great minds."

Tino came back and took their orders for their final two courses, Pollo Chicken for Josh, and Veal Scallopini for Aidan. All in all, when they were done they were so stuffed that they just couldn't eat another bite. Raimondo came in part of the way through the meal, and Josh praised him for the excellent food for which he just smiled. "I have an excellent Chef. He has been with me a good number of years. I shall let him know you are pleased." Raimondo departed and Tino came back shortly with their check and hugged both of them.

"Thanks again for the tickets, I can't wait to go. You call us any time you want this room okie? We will make sure you're not disturbed. " Tino's grin was so wide that Aidan wondered if it was beginning to hurt.

"Thanks, we will." JC smiled and winked at Tino, causing him to blush.

Aidan took the check, looked at it, nodded and pulled out his wallet. He scribbled something on the ticket and handed it back to Tino who disappeared to run the card. Josh started to say something, but Aidan held up his hand. "You buy next time okie?"

Josh nodded, "All right, it must have been a lot huh?"

Aidan nodded, "Oh it's much less than it normally is. I usually bring Trevor and Duncan with me normally. and sometimes Stone. Though, he of course pays his own way. This place is kinda expensive for Trev and Dunc, but they really like the place so I don't mind bringing them once in awhile."

Josh smiled, "Well, that is very nice of you. I can tell that they really respect you, though I remember you telling me that you haven't known Trevor very long."

"Yeah, Trevor's been my roommate for a couple of months. Duncan and I kinda grew up together. We met in High school actually, was one of the first guys I ever really did anything with."

"You and Duncan used to be lovers?" Josh blinked, soaking in that little bit of information.

"Yeah, but now it's like playing with your brother you know? Don't want to ruin our friendship. Besides, he's got Trevor now and I have never seen him so in love. I think the two were made for each other."

Tino came back and gave Aidan another hug, "Thanks Aidan, you two have a great evening."

Aidan grinned, "Thanks, you too."

Aidan stood and grinned, "Come on, let's go." Aidan put his card in his wallet and pocketed it then waited at the door for Josh and they quickly walked outside, finding the limo waiting on them.

"You had Tino call the limo company didn't you?" Josh laughed. "I was beginning to wonder what you wrote down and why it took so long for him to come back."

Aidan winked, "Yeah couldn't have my baby mobbed right?"

Josh grinned, "You know, I like the way you say that."

On the Way back to the Hotel

Josh and Aidan got into the limo and began to make their way back to the hotel. When the limo pulled up to the curb of a small store. Aidan grinned, "Be right back, baby."

Once they arrived at the store, Aidan went inside and got some pastries and two small pints of ice cream. Mint Chocolate Chip for Josh, and Butter Pecan for himself. Once back inside the limo, they quickly sped off to the Hotel and Aidan was surprised to find no screaming girls outside.

"Guess the other guys already left huh?" Aidan asked.

Josh nodded, "Yeah, they left about an hour or so ago. Which is good, cause no one knows I am here. Let's get inside, just in case though."

Aidan nodded and they hurried up to Josh's room, for some time alone.
